A semi with a garden and a spare room can still get bed bugs. We inspect Bilborough homes, treat what we find and explain how to keep them from returning.
Bilborough is mostly post-war estate housing, with semi-detached homes and gardens. Bed bugs are not about garden or street. They come in through travel and used furniture, and a semi with a spare room is often where they begin, because guest beds go unchecked. By the time the family notices bites, they may already have moved to other rooms.
At a visit we ask who slept where, then look closely at the spare room, the beds and the furniture. Treatment is targeted at the places we find them. Our free pest prevention survey and advice come with treatments, and our pricing is fixed, so you know how to spot early signs in future.
Strip the bed, check mattress seams, slats and headboard joints with a torch. Look for dark spots, shed skins and live insects. If in doubt, call us before moving things.
Not usually. Many items can be treated, though some very damaged pieces may be better replaced. We advise after inspecting, and do not push you towards replacing things.
No. Bed bugs are picked up from travel, second-hand furniture and visitors, and can appear in clean homes and hotels.
